United Artists Salon & Spa celebrated its' 20 year anniversary in 2007 and is currently owned by Cherie Slusser and managed by Cindy Lightner.  United Artists began as a large group of salon professionals wanting to stay together to provide for their clients' needs, after the former salon on the premises closed.  Through the years there have been changes, but the focus always stays the same- on the clients.  United Artists is very proud of its location on the corner of Third and Penn avenues in West Reading.   The secret to United Artists' staying power is their ability to providing outstanding services to all guests. 

Cherie Slusser, Owner
United Artists was created for an enthusiastic team of professionals wanting to stay together.  Our focus is always about providing a better self image for our guests in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.  Cherie is one of the founding partners of United Artists Salon & Spa.   In August of 2006 Cherie became the sole owner of United Artists .
Cherie is very proud of this opportunity to continue to grow and develop the business.  In February 2007, United Artists celebrated their 20th anniversary.  Cherie thanks the previous partners for their dedication as well as the loyal and talented team members.
 
Cherie has thirty years in the beauty industry.  She stays on top with continuing education.  She has traveled as far as Las Vegas numerous times for Redken's Symposium.  Cherie believes this industry is always changing and education is the key to continued growth. 
 
Cherie has a loyal and dedicated clientele.  She will continue to work behind the chair to provide for her existing clientele.  The growth of the new clientele will be recommended to her talented team members.  Cherie believes the development of the young and new in our industry is the future of United Artists
